Tool input (JSON, text, files you paste or upload)

The utilities on this site — including the JSON formatter and JSON diff tool — run entirely in your browser. Text you paste, type, or upload into a tool is processed locally by JavaScript and is never transmitted to our servers or any third party. We have no record of what you enter into these tools.

Cookies and local storage

This site does not use cookies to identify you or track tool usage. Some browserlocalStorage may be used to remember interface preferences (like your last-used indent setting), stored only on your device.

Advertising

Server logs

Like most web hosts, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may log standard technical data for security and performance purposes — such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps — for pages you request. This is separate from, and does not include, the content you type into any tool.
